Even going back to Comic-Con in San Diego last year, director McG has not been committing to what his upcoming franchise relaunch Terminator Salvation would be rated, saying that Warner Bros.’ President of Production Jeff Robinov didn’t care and just wanted McG to make the best movie he could. Ever since then, McG had cited The Dark Knight (PG-13), The Matrix (R) as two of the movies made under Robinov’s regime that proved that ratings don’t really matter either way.

Today, during the WonderCon panel, McG mentioned having a topless scene of the film’s lovely heroine Moon Bloodgood, who is being seen as a homage to Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor, and in his usual flair of showmanship, he put it to the audience whether or not they want to see that scene in the movie. Needless to say, the mostly male audience enthusiastically chose the former.

A short new Japanese promo trailer for 20th Century Fox’s Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li has come online and can be watched using the player below. Scheduled for a February 27 release, the Andrzej Bartkowiak-directed video game adaptation stars Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, Taboo, Chris Klein, Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen, Cheng Pei Pei, Josie Ho and Robin Shou.

DC Direct has revealed new busts for Terminator Salvation, hitting theaters on May 22. All busts are hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain, feature a base incorporating both human and Terminator skulls and are packaged in a 4-color box. They cost $79.99 each. Pictured below are the busts for the T-600, Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood), Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin), and the classified T-RIP.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Equity Games Production and Halcyon Games have announced Terminator Salvation – The Videogame, an action-packed, third-person shooter, to be released in conjunction with the highly anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures and Sony Pictures film, which opens nationwide on May 22, 2009.

Based on the upcoming Terminator Salvation film, the game offers players the chance to assume the role of John Connor, a soldier in the resistance, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet. Terminator Salvation – The Videogame is a third-person action game with concentrated armed combat against all of the Skynet enemies from the film while encountering new enemies specifically designed for the game. The game was developed by GRIN Studios, published by Equity Games, co-published by Evolved Games and distributed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

“Terminator Salvation – The Videogame allows players to battle for survival against Skynet enemies utilizing an incredibly fluid and realistic control set,” said Cos Lazouras, President of Halcyon Games. “The player will be led through a visceral story with extremely polished production values to create a fully interactive Terminator experience.”
