Yahoo! Movies has debuted the new trailer for Terminator Salvation which you can watch in High Definition QuickTime here!

In the McG-directed film, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind. Terminator Salvation opens in theaters on May 21st.

Even going back to Comic-Con in San Diego last year, director McG has not been committing to what his upcoming franchise relaunch Terminator Salvation would be rated, saying that Warner Bros.’ President of Production Jeff Robinov didn’t care and just wanted McG to make the best movie he could. Ever since then, McG had cited The Dark Knight (PG-13), The Matrix (R) as two of the movies made under Robinov’s regime that proved that ratings don’t really matter either way.

Today, during the WonderCon panel, McG mentioned having a topless scene of the film’s lovely heroine Moon Bloodgood, who is being seen as a homage to Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor, and in his usual flair of showmanship, he put it to the audience whether or not they want to see that scene in the movie. Needless to say, the mostly male audience enthusiastically chose the former.
